I am a master's student majoring in fishery biology, working with Dr. Michael Moore to examine growth and survival rates of shovelnose sturgeon in the Cedar River, using a long-term mark-recapture data set. As an undergraduate I worked with Dr. James Sulikowski at the Shark and Fish Conservation Laboratory at Arizona State University, examining steroid hormone concentrations in porbeagle shark muscle samples, alongside field methods and telemetry to analyze reproductive patterns in the species.
