I received my bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Murray State University in Fisheries/Aquatic Biology, and am currently pursuing my master’s degree at Iowa State University in the department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management. My undergraduate research consisted of monitoring the ichthyoplankton community in Kentucky Lake, and investigating the taxa-specific relationships between environmental variables and larval fish phenology. Broadly, I am interested in aquatic invasive species ecology, and developing practical management strategies for dealing with these nuisance species. My research here at Iowa State will focus on Asian Carp reproductive ecology along the invasion front in the upper Mississippi River and its major tributaries.
